Dancing With Light is the home of Ann Garrett's portfolio of images.
Ann Garrett discovered her passion for photography and digital art with the advent of digital cameras. Her first camera - an Olympus 8080 - was acquired only a few years ago. She has been fascinated and obsessed ever since.
Her main tools are a couple of Canon SLR's, one of which is adapted for Infrared photography, Photoshop and a Wacom graphics tablet - invaluable.
She has found that digital photography has opened up her world and loves the fusion of photography
and digital art.
"I see magic all around me - especially in the Natural World, forests in particular. I don't often find the magic I remember when I look at the photographs the camera records - Photoshop gives me the tools to recreate the magic I remember. Not a purist - more an adventurer. I would love to paint - but I seem to have more skill with a graphics tablet. I have always loved art - Monet and Turner in particular I find inspirational"
Her published work includes book covers and music CD covers.
